Wooden Chess/Draughts Board with Drawers

This handcrafted wooden chess board is framed by an intricate mosaic inlay, featuring 3 x 3 cm fields. The design, dating back to the 19th century, uses local woods such as rosewood, lemonwood, and walnut, complemented by mother-of-pearl details. Finished with hand-polished shellac, the board's vivid patterns are brought to life. Two drawers, lined with deep green felt, provide storage for the hand-carved chess pieces.
