Wooden Chess/Draughts Board with Drawers

A magnificent chess board, handmade from high-quality wood with a 4 x 4 cm field design, bordered by a mosaic inlay. The 19th-century mosaic technique, crafted from local woods like rosewood, lemonwood, and walnut, is adorned with luxurious mother-of-pearl. Finished with hand-polished shellac, the vivid patterns exude luxury. Two concealed drawers, lined with dark green felt, house the hand-carved chess pieces.
