Arak Bechara Balaban is an unusual name among Lebanese arak connoisseurs. This arak was already produced in Ferzol in the early eighteenth century by one of the most famous arak producers, Bechara Balaban.
Arak Bechara Balaban (Maatak) is triple distilled from grapes and green Levantine anise. It is then aged in clay barrels for 6 months and plate filtered to ensure a unique, smooth taste.
